I fell in love with exercise and nutrition when I was 12 years old. I started gaining weight when all of my friends were still stick thin. It got me curious and was the catalyst to what remains a lifelong journey of learning, trying, and evolving! I got my personal training certification in 2011 and met some incredible people in that journey (clients!) that I still keep in touch with to this day. In 2012 my husband and I discovered CrossFit and immediately fell in love.
We opened Crossfit 928 in 2013. I got my Holistic Life Certification with Paul Chek and opened up a world of low toxin living that I immediately gravitated toward. I actually started my Masters in Holistic Nutrition but ended up unexpectedly pregnant while opening the gym and it proved to be too much. Still kind of regret not finishing it- but I’ve spent the last 13 years learning so much about nutrition and our bodies and how to keep them functioning and feeling their best.
I started like many with an obsession of being skinny and tracking every morsel of food and slowly broke those chains and am so incredibly passionate about helping women (and men) learn how to fuel themselves without “dieting”, restricting, or having it take over their lives! I want people to love their bodies and appreciate all they do for us and treat them with that love and appreciation. Our words and thoughts matter! 💖
I’m a Mom to 4 wonderful kiddos! I’m a Waxhaw/Weddington native but moved to Ohio with my husband for 9 years. I enjoy cooking and have always been a foodie. I love nature so much and it really grounds me. I got completely sober in December 2019 and it was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. I truly could not live without music. I really love people and enjoy connection and getting to know others- it lights me up! I try to see the good in every person and situation 🥰
